Writing update #9

Hello! Writing hasn’t progressed much, however, research on Arab tanks has been going pretty well, I am currently trying to purchase a book that has more info on Egyptian M22s, and I have gone pretty deep into the visual analysis, I believe it to have been built on a Panzer 3 Ausf L hull which was built from December 1941 to July 1942 and then converted to an N variant in either September or October 1942 and then sent with another 24 Panzer 3 Ausf. Ns to North Africa, fighting in Tunisia? and then getting captured by the British, stored in Egypt, and re-activated and from there I don’t have much.

Anyway! my absurd obsession with early Israeli armour is finally paying off! My school has allowed me to do something called a final work (I think it translates into a thesis but I am not so sure about the translation), It’s practically a history paper I write at an academic level, meaning citations, good writing and around 20+ pages, which completely replaces a finals exam in history, it can be about anything I want really, as long as the education ministry approves the topic I want to cover, which I would submit in March, the topic I hope they would let me research is: “Which and how many tanks were used by the different armies of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War”. Which like everything revolving around this, is very, VERY misunderstood especially when it comes to the Arab side of the story, as for the Israeli side, I pretty much have it all figured out, anyway it’s going to take roughly a year to finish, also im trying to see if I can write it in English, and if I can, I will make it add more visuals and make it a PDF and upload it to the site for free, kinda like a small E-book on the subject. Now, with something as big as this on my plate, article writing will take much much longer.

Israeli half-tracks with flamethrowers, next article? maybe?
