I have today finished one of the biggest parts of the H39 article which I am currently working on, I have managed to match every single IDF number to a tactical number, however, there is one big question I wanted to answer in my article, the question being “What was the original number of the surviving tank in Latrun?” and after months of research, I am stuck.

Using photographic evidence and deduction I managed to get down from ten possible tanks to just two, 600, and 621, however, it seems I have exhausted all available resources, and because the Yad La Shiryon archive is closed until further notice due to the war, I am unable to go to the archives and check for myself. While I am not satisfied with this, I believe I have to finish writing the H39 article with my biggest question unanswered, and only answer it in a smaller, shorter, dedicated article in the future.

As for when the H39 article will come? I have no idea, compiling all this information seems like a never-ending task, but I will finish it!
